We all want to feel good.  Each Buff Bead represents an act of self-care and is a reminder to become present and self-aware.  This allows us to become centered and to focus on changing our thoughts or feelings in order to maintain a positive state.  This is known as “Buffing”.  A Buff is a video game skill that grants the player extra power in specific areas. In real life, we can use our thoughts and words to do the same thing.  Buff Beads are your reminder.

My name is Jessica Tracy.  I created Buff Beads in 2014 as a reminder to be aware of my self-talk.  A surge of self-compassion made me aware of how my self-destructive inner dialogue had been making me sick physically and mentally. It lit a fire in me to share my experiences and to spread awareness to the life changing effects of self-compassion.
